This Peerless Z-chain is designed for police, fire, ambulance and other emergency fleets. Z-chain does not require chain tensioners and contains a diagonal cross-member pattern that provides outstanding traction and durability in harsh weather environments. The split outside cable with fasteners allos for easy installation without needing to move the vehicle. Z-chains are compatible with electronically monitored brake systems. The traction coils are made using alloy steel. This particular Z-chain works well for tire sizes 18-24 inches including: 12-16.5LT, LT285/70-17, LT295/75-16, 275/70-19.5, LT295/75-17, 265/65-20, 285/60-20 and 305/35-24. Note: This chain meets SAE "S" requirements.
