SPICER® DRIVETRAIN PRODUCTS

You can’t underestimate the importance of your wheels and the power they need to keep you going, and your drivetrain components are what make it all possible. Working behind the scenes in your undercarriage, the drivetrain system transfers power from the engine to the driving wheels and ensures that your truck or fleet has the ideal amount of torque and balance no matter where your application takes you. Often confused with the powertrain, which includes in the engine, the drivetrain typically consists of a driveshaft assembly that transfers torque from the engine via the transmission to the driving wheels. An intricate system of u-joints, yokes, and other components hold this system in place, and the configuration of your drivetrain depends on whether you have front-wheel, rear-wheel, or all-wheel drive. Having a low-quality or unbalanced drivetrain system can lead to damage to other components and, if left, unchecked, can also potentially inhibit the control of your vehicle. With Spicer OE-quality drivetrain products, you can trust your drivetrain system over the long haul.

About Spicer® and DANA® Incorporated
IIn today’s trucking industry, the names Dana and Spicer are synonymous with tough, high-quality drive axle and drivetrain components. DANA® builds the drivetrain components that OEMs trust as their first fit, and the Spicer name brings that same level of quality and performance to the aftermarket. The powerful combination of Dana and Spicer first got its start in 1904 when engineer and inventor Clarence W. Spicer first began manufacturing u-joints. It became the Spicer Manufacturing company 1910, and in 1914, the legendary partnership was formed when Charles Dana joined the company.
