Details

The expansion valve removes pressure from the liquid refrigerant to allow expansion or change of state from a liquid to a vapor in the evaporator.


Designed for Peterbilt model 587 years 2011-12, Volvo/White GMC VN Series 420, 610, 770 years 1996-02 applications, this bulbless block type expansion has a pressure limit of 65.7 psig @90 degrees F. The superheat rating is5.5 degrees F. It has a no. 6 (3/8 in.) Plate (Flange) Mount inlet, no. 12 (3/4 in.) Plate (Flange) Mount outlet, no. 8 (1/2 in.) Plate (Flange) Mount evaporator fitting in, and no. 10 (5/8) Plate (Flange) Mount evaporator fitting out.


Red Dot Corporation warrants its on and off highway air conditioners, heaters and replacement parts against any defects that are due to faulty material or workmanship for a period of one year from date of purchase or date of installation unless otherwise noted.
