ABS is an important component of any heavy-duty truck's braking system. Not only does ABS keep wheels grounded, but it helps to prevent lock-up; skidding; and losing control of vehicles. It's important to pay attention to the warning signs of a failing ABS module including if the ABS warning light is illuminated; brake pedals become unresponsive or require more effort to engage and the speedometer fails. Driving with bad ABS is never recommended and should be promptly repaired after pre-trip inspections.

This ABS relay valve for trailers contains 4 x 5/16 inch mounting and a break point of .28 bar. The 12V unit has a Bayonet DIN 72585 A1-3.1-Sn/K1 electrical connection with a rated current of 2220 mA. The relay valve has a IP 66 / IP 69K protection class; a calculated volume of 1.2945 and a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C. Port thread measurements are as follows: Port 1: 2x 3/4" - 18 NPTF; Port 2: 4x 3/8" - 18 NPTF; Port 3: 3/4" - 18 NPTF; Port 4: 3/8" - 18 NPTF JED-686.
