Product Description

ABS is an important component of any heavy-duty truck's braking system. Not only does ABS keep wheels grounded, but it helps to prevent lock-up; skidding; and losing control of vehicles. It's important to pay attention to the warning signs of a failing ABS module including if the ABS warning light is illuminated; brake pedals become unresponsive or require more effort to engage and the speedometer fails. Driving with bad ABS is never recommended and should be promptly repaired after pre-trip inspections.

This 24 volt ABS modulator kit controls air pressure to the brake chambers. During an ABS stop, the modulator valve adjusts air pressure to the brake chamber to control braking and prevent wheel lockup. The unit is compatible with all versions of Wabco ECUs and contains a calculated volume of 2.765.
