ABS is an important component of any heavy-duty truck's braking system. Not only does ABS keep wheels grounded, but it helps to prevent lock-up; skidding; and losing control of vehicles. It's important to pay attention to the warningsigns of a failing ABS module including if the ABS warning light is illuminated; brake pedals become unresponsive or require more effort to engage and the speedometer fails. Driving with bad ABS is never recommended and should be promptlyrepaired after pre-trip inspections.


This 4S/4M 6S/4M air dryer system contains a DIN 72585-A1-3.1-Sn/K1, DIN 72585-A1-2.1-Sn/K1 electrical connection; a max operating pressure of 11 bar and a response pressure of .38 bar. The 12 volt unit has a calculated volume of 6.682; an IP66, IP69K protection class and a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C. Port thread sizes are as follow: Ports 1, 2.1, 2.2: 1/2 - 14 Dry Seal NPTF; Port 2: 3/8 - 18 Dry Seal NPTF; Port 3: Exhaust; Port 4: 1/4" - 18 Dry Seal NPTF.
