Details

ABS is an important component of any heavy-duty truck's braking system. Not only does ABS keep wheels grounded, but it helps to prevent lock-up; skidding; and losing control of vehicles. It's important to pay attention to the warningsigns of a failing ABS module including if the ABS warning light is illuminated; brake pedals become unresponsive or require more effort to engage and the speedometer fails. Driving with bad ABS is never recommended and should be promptlyrepaired after pre-trip inspections.


This 4S/4M 6S/4M ABS axle package contains an 11 bar operating pressure and a DIN 72585-A1-3.1-Sn/K1 electrical connection. The 12 volt unit has a response pressure of .38 bar; a calculated volume of 6.16 and a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C. Port thread sizes are as follow: Port 1: 1/2 - 14 Dry Seal NPTF; Port 2: 3/8 - 18 Dry Seal NPTF; Port 2.1 and 2.2: 1/2 - 14 Dry Seal NPTF; Port 3: Exhaust; Port 4: 1/4" - 18 Dry Seal NPTF. This product has a IP66, IP69K protection class and is compatible with C, D and E version ECUs.
