ABS is an important component of any heavy-duty truck's braking system. Not only does ABS keep wheels grounded, but it helps to prevent lock-up; skidding; and losing control of vehicles. It's important to pay attention to the warningsigns of a failing ABS module including if the ABS warning light is illuminated; brake pedals become unresponsive or require more effort to engage and the speedometer fails. Driving with bad ABS is never recommended and should be promptlyrepaired after pre-trip inspections.

This normally closed 3/2 solenoid valve contains DIN 72 585 A1-2.1-Sn/K1 electrical connectors with a 4 millimeter exhaust. The 12 volt unit has a max operating pressure of 10.2 bar and a rated current of 1410 mA. Its calculated volume is .3315; IP 6K9K / IP 6K7 protection class and temperature range is -40°C to +80°C. Ports 1, 2 and 3 are each 1/4 inch.
