Not only is the starter reliable, but it's optimal for heavy duty truck engines. The 42MT is built with a semi-solid link solenoid to minimize joint relaxation and loss of connection integrity. These starters crank up to 10.5 percent faster than the competition.

This Delco Remy 42MT 12 Volt Starter is specialized for Freightliner, International, Mack and Volvo vehicles that utilize SAE 3 mounts. It features a 12 tooth pinion with an 8/10 pitch and a solenoid position of 82 degrees. Over Crank Protection (OCP) comes standard.
