The 28SI specifically is built with a dual internal fan design (DIF) that provides maximum cooling technology. It's also equipped with Remote Sense which reduces battery charge time by 50 percent.
This Delco Remy 28SI 180 Amp Alternator is specialized for Thomas vehicles that utilize Saf-T-Liner engines manufactured between 2000-2006, School bus engines manufactured in 2000 and Transit Liner engines manufactured between 2000-2008 that utilize J180 Hinge mounting.
Our 28SI alternators feature a 1 year, unlimited mile warranty (2 years for school bus applications).
