Serpentine belts are expected to last approximately 60,000 miles in semi-trucks and other HD commercial vehicles; however, they can fail before that. This Molded coolant hose is designed for upper, lower, bypass, heater and other coolant applications with OEM quality specs. Note: It is recommended not to use this hose for fuel or oil transfer applications. This hose is engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of hose failure. It is pre-shaped to fit perfectly for sealed conditions and is made from aramid or rayon knit (depending on application) for increased durability. It features a hose inner diameter measurement of 2.5 inches and a centerline length of 13.7 inches. Operating temperature rating is -40F to +275F in coolant applications.
