Early signs of failing spring brake chambers often go unnoticed without visual inspection. When performing routine maintenance on your semi-truck or other commercial vehicle, you may want to check to see if the brake chamber rod is bent; isn't fully retracting or chamber and slack adjusters are out of adjustment. It could be time for a replacement. After all, brake chambers should be replaced every two-five years.

This C24L air disc brake is designed for heavy-duty commercial vehicles. C models feature a formed steel pressure cap (epoxy-coated) and formed steel non-pressure chamber (epoxy-coated). It also features heavy-duty nylon diaphragms. Its top and side air ports measure 3/8-18 inches NPTF and it contains the added benefit of a center hole shield (except Type 12 and 16). This long stroke C model s-cam brake chamber contains a 2.5 inch stroke; a 5/8 11 inch mounting bolt thread and a 1.52 mounting bolt length. Service size is 24. Its "A" measurement is 4.42 inches; "B" measurement is 3.67 inches; "C" measurement is 7.34 inches and "D" measurement is 4.75 inches.
