HOW ENGINE COOLING RADIATORS WORK
Radiators operate as heat transfer devices. Internal combustion engines are kept cool by circulating engine coolant around the engine block, where it is heated and then passed through the radiator to be cooled and the heat is transferred back into the atmosphere. The coolant is then circulating back to the engine for the process to continue.
