Product Description

ABS is an important component of any heavy-duty truck's braking system. Not only does ABS keep wheels grounded, but it helps to prevent lock-up; skidding; and losing control of vehicles. It's important to pay attention to the warning signs of a failing ABS module including if the ABS warning light is illuminated; brake pedals become unresponsive or require more effort to engage and the speedometer fails. Driving with bad ABS is never recommended and should be promptly repaired after pre-trip inspections.

This 1.7 meter "S" straight sensor kit is typically installed in heavy front axle applications (16,000 - 20,000 GAWR) at wheel ends to measure the motion of a sensed wheel in ABS applications and includes bushing mount. With 12 volts of power, this axial sensor product offers IP 67 / IP 69K EN 60529/IEC 529 of protection and an operating temperature of -40 to + 185° F. Additionally, it has a 6.2 millimeter TDR cable with CS wires.
