It also contains a chromed piston rod that protects against corrosion. It delivers maximum control, comfort and durability with it's 10-stage valving. The 85000 series has forged solid steel eye rings and 360 degree arc-welded end monts to reduce end mount failure. This specific shock absorber is 13.66 in fully collapsed and 21.8 in. fully extended. The stroke size on this shock is 8.14 in. and the bore size is 1.625 in. For Hendrickson Truck Suspension Systems and Mc Neilus Truck & Man vehicle and axle applications.
