When performing routine maintenance on your semi-truck or other commercial vehicle, you may want to check to see if the brake chamber rod is bent; isn't fully retracting or chamber and slack adjusters are out of adjustment. It could be time for a replacement. After all, brake chambers should be replaced every two-five years.
This LTR3030T s-cam brake chamber with breather tube is designed for parking brakes. The LTR-T model features a tamper-resistant design and integral release bolt. It also has low friction piston and guide plus a heavy-duty long life power spring offering 100 pounds additional parking brake force at 1.25 inch of stroke. With an external breather tube, it contains a service size of 30 and a spring size of 30. It also features a standard stroke size of 2.5 inches and a 3/8-18 inch port size. Its "A" measurement is 11.86 inches; "B" measurement is 9.46 inches; "C" measurement is 8.27 inches; "D" measurement is 8.18 inches; "E" measurement is 4.75 inches; "F" measurement is 5/8-11 UNC; "E" measurement is 5/8-18 UNF and inlets are 3/8-18 NPTF.
