This Bendix Purge Valve Housing Assembly is designed for AD9 Air Dryer Systems. The purge valve is designed to expel contaminants in the end cover sump during the purge cycle of the air dryer system. It allows air from the desiccant cartridge to reverse direction and flow to the open purge valve. It also removes oil and solid contaminants collected by the oil separator. This purge valve is a hard seat valve type for 24 volt systems.
