Product Description

Shock absorbers are critical components of a truck's suspension system. Not only do they absorb rough road impacts, but they reduce vibrations from potholes and uneven surfaces making it easier to brake and safer to move freely on long-haul trips.

This Match Made shock absorber for several heavy-duty commercial vehicles including International, Mitsubishi and Mor-Ryde vehicles, with air and tapered leaf suspensions and steer axle applications, contains a chrome plated piston rod that protects against corrosion, extending the life of the shock, and a square groove PTFE piston seal for low friction and increased driving performance. It also contains a specially designed STOP control component to prevent rod punctures and valve damage. This aftermarket shock has a proprietary bushing formulation proven to outlast other brands tested and are produced with unique oil seal design to control loss of shock oil and nitrogen gas charge. Upper and lower valve packages are made from 100% disk technology. The weld work on this shock has the highest breakpoint rating in the industry. It has a bore size of 1.375 in. and a stroke size of 7.75 in. Compressed to extended length measurement is 11.89 in. to 19.64 in.
