Spring brakes and their subsequent parts are generally reserved for the rear axle of the vehicle. Each spring brake is built with two different chambers with two different purposes. The service chamber, like any other brake chamber, is used to push the compressed air through the brake system to apply enough force to stop the brakes. However, spring brakes also contain a piggyback chamber that applies the emergency/parking brakes. This Haldex Gold Seal Series Spring Brake Actuator is built with power spring technology superior to other aftermarket spring brakes. It's built with a world-class flexible diaphragm that operates even in temperatures as low as -40 degrees Fahrenheit. Within this spring brake is a double O-ring center seal and a self-piloting dust shield that extends the seal and the actuator life. This specific actuator has size T30/30 brake chambers with a pushrod length of 1 inches. Its stroke size comes in at 3 inches and it's classified as a long stroke brake chamber. This actuator also comes with a clevis.

This product comes with a four year, unlimited mile warranty.
