This actuator for Kenworth and Peterbilt applications is a 12-volt, 2 pin style. AC actuators, also known as blend door actuators, control the position of the vents that circulate hot and cold air into the passenger cabin. These small electric motors move the vent doors and blend warm air with cool air to achieve the temperature desired by the driver. Properly functioning actuators are critical to the overall seamless functionality of the HVAC system and are integral to driver comfort.
