Details
Slack adjusters, whether manual or automatic, are used as levers to form the connection between actuators and camshafts and help to maintain consistent stroke of the actuator. Slack adjusters should be greased every six months and may need to be replaced every four to five years based on the application. When in need of replacement slack adjusters, turn to Bendix!
This Automatic slack adjuster is designed for air brake systems. It can be used on the rear, drive axle (5.5 inch arm length). Or, use 6.5 inch arm length only when using straight clevis style kit. It offers a spline diameter measurement of 1.5 inches and a spline count of 10. With a straight arm, its arm length measures 5.5 in. or 6.5 inches.
