Red Dot Expansion Valve - RD-5-6868-1P

Product Description

The expansion valve removes pressure from the liquid refrigerant to allow expansion or change of state from a liquid to a vapor in the evaporator.

Made for Volvo applications, this expansion valve has a superheat rating of 5 deg F and a pressure limit of 80psig @40 deg F. It has a no. 6 (3/8 in.) Female O-Ring inlet, no. 10 (5/8 in.) Female O-Ring Evaporator Fittings outlet, no. 8 (1/2 in.) Female O-Ring in, and no. 8 (1/2 in.) Female O-Ring out.

Red Dot Corporation warrants its on and off highway air conditioners, heaters and replacement parts against any defects that are due to faulty material or workmanship for a period of one year from date of purchase or date of installation unless otherwise noted.
