Product Description

Air actuators consist of a piston inside a hollow cylinder. Pressure from an external compressor or manual pump moves the piston inside the cylinder. Air actuators in a double acting configuration have air supplied to both sides of the piston, with one side being higher pressure which achieves the movement required to actuate the valve. This configuration uses the air as energy to both open and close the valve.

Made for Peterbilt applications, this double acting air cylinder features a .375 in. stroke, plastic mounting plate, and 3/16 in. nylon hose push-in fitting. It has a cylinder diameter of .79 in. and a cylinder length of 5.34 in.
