Early signs of failing spring brake chambers often go unnoticed without visual inspection. When performing routine maintenance on your semi-truck or other commercial vehicle, you may want to check to see if the brake chamber rod is bent; isn't fully retracting or chamber and slack adjusters are out of adjustment. It could be time for a replacement. After all, brake chambers should be replaced every two-five years.

This TRB1824DT air disc brake chamber with breather tube and welded mounting bolts is designed for parking brakes. This double diaphragm air brake features a tamper-resistant design with molded nitrile rubber push-rod air seal and externally stored release bolt. It has a weatherseal plug; 360 aluminum center case and polymer push-rod guides plus nylon diaphragm. This aftermarket unit contains a service size of 18 and a spring size of 24. Its standard stroke size is 2.5 inches and its port size is 3/8-18 NPTF. Mounting bolt thread measures M16 x 1.5 and mounting bolt length measures 1.71 inches. Its "A" measurement is 8.81 inches; "B" measurement is 7.34 inches; "C" measurement is 6.85 inches; "D" measurement is 4.75 inches; "E" measurement is M16 x 1.5-6g and ports are 3/8-18 NPTF. XB measures 15 millimeters.
