ABS is an important component of any heavy-duty truck's braking system. Not only does ABS keep wheels grounded, but it helps to prevent lock-up; skidding; and losing control of vehicles. It's important to pay attention to the warning signs of a failing ABS module including if the ABS warning light is illuminated; brake pedals become unresponsive or require more effort to engage and the speedometer fails. Driving with bad ABS is never recommended and should be promptly repaired after pre-trip inspections.

This 12 volt axle package for 4S/4M 6S/4M systems contains a DIN 72585-A1-3.1-Sn/K1 electrical connector with a max operating pressure of 11 bar and a response pressure of .28 bar. Its temperature range is -40°C to +80°C; protection class is IP66, IP69K and port thread measurements are as follow: Ports 1, 2.1 and 2.2: 1/2 - 14 Dry Seal NPTF; Port 2: 3/8 - 18 Dry Seal NPTF; Port 3: Exhaust; Port 4: 1/4" - 18 Dry Seal NPTF. This unit provides an alternative to separate valve installation by combining a service brake relay valve with two ABS modulator valves and is compatible with C, D and E Version ECUs.
