However, spring brakes also contain a piggyback chamber that applies the emergency/parking brakes. This Haldex MAXIBRAKE HR-Series Spring Brake Actuator built with all steel housing that brings durability and added corrosion resistance. It's built with a steel piston and nylon bearings that diffuses lateral motion for accurate stability. This spring brake will stop your vehicle in emergencies and won't release until the air supply is at a safe level. This specific actuator has a maximum hydraulic pressure of 125 PSI.

Note: This hydraulic unit is compatible with ATF - do not use brake fluid.
