With grommet mounting, it is hardwired and features a self-regulating heater that heats consistently and adjusts output as temperature drops while preventing snow and ice build-up and contains LED lighting technology with 8 diodes (sealed components to resist corrosion) made from red polycarbonate lens material. The unit fits into standard connections and complies with FMVSS 108 standards.
