Details
For Navistar applications, this tube-fin AC condenser features a male insert O-ring fitting type and accommodates R12/R134a refrigerants. It has a no. 8 MIO inlet and no. 6 MIO outlet. The condenser is located in front of the radiator at the front of the truck. Its purpose is to take high pressure refrigerant from the compressor and cool it down with high-speed wind while the truck is in motion or by a clutch or cooling fan while the truck is at low speeds or idling. Condensers typically come in either serpentine or parallel flow designs, and they release high pressure liquid to the filter drier.
