The reservoir cap works in conjunction with the engine coolant system, protecting against coolant loss in the reservoir. This Velvac heavy duty reservoir cap has a 3/4 in. deep neck and a pressure of 10 lbs. It is designed for use in engine overflow reservoir systems and is backed by Velvac standards and warranty.

The standard warranty coverage for Velvac parts is twelve (12) months from the date of sale to twenty-four (24) months from the date of manufacture, whichever comes first, but some exceptions may apply for specific part categories and finishes. These exceptions can be found in Velvac's warranty policy.
