Slack adjusters, whether manual or automatic, are used as levers to form the connection between actuators and camshafts and help to maintain consistent stroke of the actuator. This PL-20 manual slack adjuster with Economy slack is designed for air brake systems. It is made from forged steel with a bi-directional design. It is permanently lubricated with a positive lock mechanism that is protected from rust and corrosion by shaft/plating sealing. It offers a spline diameter measurement of 1.625 inches and a spline count of 37. With a .5 inches clevis thread diameter, and straight arm, its arm length measures 6 inches. Its max torque rating is 22,000 pounds.
