What Did You Do In 2020?

Oh right, you spent it indoors. 2020 grounded the entire country and left us all with little social interaction and enough family time to make our heads spin; and while we are thankful to have lounged around and worked on home projects, we are ready to get of the house and interact with familiar and new faces.

While we are not out of the clear just yet with COVID-19 threats, we hold onto hope that we will be in a better place soon. That’s why more associations around the continental United States are feeling good about re-opening tradeshows to the public. Here are top five in-person trucking conferences that are planned for 2021 that you won’t want to miss.

1) TMC: Technology and Maintenance Council

This conference changed their schedule from a March show to a Fall meeting for the safety of their guests. The new in-person conference will be held on September 12-16 in Cleveland, Ohio. The conference will hold regular seminars discussing vehicle maintenance and design “planned by fleets, for fleets.” Registration is not open; but will be available on their website soon as the meeting coordinators monitor Coronavirus news and updates.

2) TCA’s Truckload Show

This conference from the Truckload Carriers Association will be held on April 17-20 featuring hundreds of exhibitors and lectured topics focusing on Operations; Safety and Compliance; Human Resources; Finance and much more! Oh, and did we mention that Shark Tank’s Daymond John is the keynote speaker this year?

Every year, I come away with many new ideas and suggestions on how to improve our fleet operation.” Registration will open on March 1, 2021.

4) North American Commercial Vehicle Show

This year’s conference will be in Atlanta, Georgia from September 28-30 and feature some of the world’s leading manufactures and technology providers.
