This brake camshaft is designed for 16.5 inch XL air brakes in heavy-duty vehicles (axles after 1995). Note: Use this camshaft in pairs only and do not mix on an axle. This Bendix S-camshaft is precision machined to ensure a direct fit with your heavy-duty application. It works by spreading the brake shoes apart and causing friction between the brake drum and the brake lining. In turn, your commercial vehicle will slow down and stop when needed. Measurement: 1-1/2-28 X 20-7/16 inches with 1 5/8 inch journal. It features 20 3/8 inch underhead to lockring groove and 2 7/32 inch underhead to bearing surface groove. 1.5 inch diameter - 28 spline.
