This Match Made shock absorber for multiple commercial vehicle applications including Volvo, and GMC models using steer axle applications contains a chrome plated piston rod that protects against corrosion, extending the life of the shock, and a square groove PTFE piston seal for low friction and increased driving performance. It also contains a specially designed STOP control component to prevent rod punctures and valve damage. This aftermarket shock has a proprietary bushing formulation proven to outlast other brands tested and are produced with unique oil seal design to control loss of shock oil and nitrogen gas charge. Upper and lower valve packages are made from 100% disk technology. The weld work on this shock has the highest breakpoint rating in the industry. This part is designed for various vehicles with air spring and tapered leaf suspensions plus axle applications. It has a bore size of 1.375 in. and a stroke size of 9.03 in. Compressed to extended length measurement is 14.48 in. to 23.51 in.
